In 2000 Vincent Aviation won a contract with the New Zealand Defence Force to fly troops between Darwin and Timor Lesté (formerly East Timor) to support United Nations Peacekeeping efforts. When Singaporean troops took over from the New Zealanders, Vincent Aviation provided air capability support to them as well.

Vincent Aviation’s clientele grew to include the governments of Japan, Ireland and Australia. The success of Vincent Aviation’s work in this region, and the development of Timor Lesté, has created demand for charter services to Indonesia, Irian Jaya and Malaysia. Vincent Aviation also provided emergency medivac coverage for from the United Nations Legation based in Timor Lesté.

Over the last five years Vincent Aviation has developed a strong presence in the Northern Territory, Australia, conducting its first scheduled passenger service to Groote Eylandt. This aspect of the business continues to strengthen. The schedule to Groote Eylandt has grown from two to 14 flights a week.

It is a mark of Vincent Aviation’s reliability and technical ability that Airways New Zealand Ltd has contracted the company to provide air capability for calibration of airport instrument approach aids throughout New Zealand, as well as other nations in the Pacific and South East Asian regions.
